This 69-minute block of instruction was presented at the monthly UMT training at Fort Wainwright, Alaska in January 2020 by the Bassett Army Community Hospital Chaplain, Chaplain (CPT) Kenneth Gillespie. Chaplain Gillespie begins with an overview of MASCAL operations in both garrison and deployed environments then focuses in on the role of both chaplains and religious affairs specialists during a MASCAL.
