A vital element of military chaplaincy is the chaplains’ endorser. A minister must have an approved endorsing body to certify his or her fitness for military ministry. Every chaplain is not only bound by their commission within their military service, but also to their endorsing body. So important is a chaplain’s endorser to the military, if a chaplain should lose his/her endorsement, separation from the military begins right away.
