Called and Chosen” (2017) is about Navy Chaplain Vincent Capodanno who was serving with the Marines in Vietnam when he was killed by enemy machine gun fire. The documentary about him is expected to debut on Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) on the 50th anniversary of his death, 4 September 2017.

The Grunt Padre in Vietnam” (2004) “An excellent and touching documentary about the military chaplain, Father Vincent Capodanno, who committed his life and ultimately gave it up for the service of U.S. Marines fighting in Viet Nam. Several veterans recount their personal memories and stories involving Fr. Capodanno. This special is based on the book, “The Grunt Padre” by Fr. Daniel Mode. 60 minutes.”
