TCK-EDU-3: Military Ethics

This 96-minute block of instruction was presented at the monthly UMT training at Fort Wainwright, Alaska by Chaplain (LTC) Paul Fritts in January 2020. In it, Chaplain Fritts surveys some of the topics of military ethics including Just War, Ethical Decision Making and ethical philosophies. He continues with a focus on the Army Values, exploring their ethical implications to military members.

Note that the last 10 minutes of the presentation was not recorded due to technical difficulties but the slides have been inserted which, together with the read-ahead article noted below, give a good summary of both the instruction and discussion during that lost time.

The recommended read-ahead article (“The Lost Sense of Honor” by James Bowman) can be downloaded here and the presentation slides to follow along with can be downloaded here.
